We need to talk about tumblr's systematic fatphobia.

Posts of fat people are being marked as "sexual content" even more frequently than they used to, but now we have this fun little addition as brought to my attention by a friend;

That's right. Not just blatant kink-shaming, but now, if you make posts about or with fat people, you can now be flagged as "promoting disordered eating"! Multiple completely innocent posts of fat people literally just existing in their own bodies have already been flagged this way.

Raise hell about it. Reblog and share fat content more than ever. Don't let this shitty website tell you that your bodies are "wrong" or that you aren't allowed to exist publicly.

Tumblr staff, if you care about eating disorders (you fucking don't), stop promoting this sense of shame and fear and disgust towards the idea of weight gain. Stop shaming and censoring people for posting about their own bodies and experiences. Fatphobia kills. Fatphobia causes disordered eating. Fatphobia is the disease you should be worried about.

This has also been disproportionately affecting fat trans people, because of course it has.

Recently, an animal rights activist organization has blocked the transfer of two orcas and twelve dolphins out of marineland Antibes in France, a marine park which has closed down on January 5th—one which is in terrible condition.

The animals live in unfiltered pools with failing infrastructure, one which can kill them at any moment, due to the fact that the park is officially bankrupt, following a law banning cetacean performances in France.

The activist organizations insist on keeping the orcas and dolphins there until a sanctuary is built. The problem is, no sanctuary will ever be built in the foreseeable future, and the cetaceans don't have that time to wait. Recently, the largest sanctuary project (the whale sanctuary project) has been outed as a cash-grab and a scam, after it was revealed its owners have been earning GIGANTIC salaries without spending even a cent on the sanctuary project.

The plan is to fight for the transport of the two orcas and twelve dolphins to Loro Parque and Zoo Madrid. It may not be the ideal choice, but it's the only solution they have.

If not transferred, the animals will be euthanized, which is what the organizations are wishing for. They're openly celebrating the fact that healthy animals may be put to sleep, and mock the situation on their social media.

This is their only chance, and the only thing we can do. The two orcas are a lonely pair—a mother and her son, whose condition has recently been worsening.

i love supernatural so much but sometimes engaging with the fandom hurts because I haven’t gone to conventions (and can’t for various reasons) or made any friends through the fandom. This is Rusty, he’s roughly 96 years old (though he doesn’t look it)! He runs Midnight Fuel, your first and only option for fuel and trail-mix in the middle of nowhere, Florida! It’s been owned by his family (more specifically, just Rusty) for a very long time, and is a staple of the Bitter Springs community (though Rusty isn’t very jazzed to be included in all the warm fuzzies, he’s a bit of a curmudgeon) Rusty here made a slightly monkey’s paw flavored deal with Arthur Warren back in the 50s, and now he has locationally specific immortality. His gas station is as far as he can venture outside of town before Ye Old Stab Wounds reopen

His hobbies include repairing old radios, boxing, and trading possibly cursed and/or magical items under the table.

Oc Masterpost – Zyne, Half Demon, Half Man

The demon man who commits crime! Part-time absent father, full-time shit starter.

Zyne is a half human, half demon born on Earth, away from his homeland (yes, it is Hell, but it is not your typical religion-born eternal-damnation Hell.) It is indeed Hell... but with a twist.

As for his residency on Earth– he was thrown into an orphanage right away, for reasons he knows of but would never share. Eventually being adopted by a single dad, he was given the name "[REDACTED] Lily Reyes Del Bosque". It would take some years until he finally chose a more fitting name– "Zyne". The last name still exists, I'm literally just saying that he's a transgender man in the most convoluted way possible.

Once he hit early teenhood, though, a special academy had chosen him for stardom. Almost immediately, he was forced into acting classes to star in a magical-girl styled TV show for kids, as if to be a model of goodness– being a demon and all (very marginalized in this world, fyi).

At some point he grew tired of this artificial lifeless life, turning to the much more desireable life of crime, where he WOULD be taken seriously... where he could finally be "free".

...In Hell City, where his people reside. The people of demonkind.
