Desk Layout...even Though It Won't Stay Like This For Long!

Working on the final draft of my English essay and watching some old X-Files. I know I probably shouldn't watch TV while I do my homewaork....but my brain will die of boredom if I dont have some sort of entertainment going on.

Introduction

So I've seen a bunch of studyblr bloggers do introduction posts and I didn't really think to do one because...I'm pretty darn shy!

But here is goes anyways

About me:

I'm a freshman at community college

I'm 24 (I took off schooling to take care of my mom from age 19 to 21)

My major is anthropology (if you couldn't tell from my username)

I'm originally from Colorado but I'm currently living in San Diego, Ca

My goals this year:

Pass all my classes (obviously right?)

Do all my readings BEFORE class

Do all the extra credit!

Complete at least one honors class (just signed up for honors english)

Meet new people (did I mention I was shy?)

Learn a new language (currently learning Norwegian on duolingo)

Hobbies:

Writing stories whenever I get the spare time

Reading

Watching documentaries

Have not posted in a while! My life got super chaotic, but I'm back at it!

First off, I hope everyone had a splendid holiday and a great new years!

I recently got my official grades from the Fall semester, and I'm pleased to say I passed both my honors classes!

And today I registered for my Spring 19 classes! Yay!

This semester I will be taking:

Introduction to Anthropology

Human Geography

Geology of Colorado

Art History: prehistoric to renaissance

Needles to say, I am excited!

Overall today was a pretty good day!

I had orientation for my new job this morning! Afterwards, I cam home and read for a while before working on my personal narrative assignment. 

I’m almost done with all my assignments for the next two weeks so I can have a stress free vacation!

Today I found this little guy on the floor outside my Anthro class. I didn't want him to get smushed so I decided to bring him home.

I always feel both really confident and really nervous when I finish a test in a short amount of time.

Had my first Cultural Anthropology test today and got done in about 30 minutes. 25 multiple choice question and five short essay responses.

Today I submitted my project proposal for my Anthropology ethnography.

It wasn't what I wanted to do originally, but I am still looking forward to taking this extra little step.

Productivity! Day one

Today is my 24th birthday, so I thought that it would be the best day to start my 100 days of productivity!

For my first productive day I cleaned and organized my office, because a cluttered desk is not a happy desk!

This is my fiction and story writing bookshelf. Along with some of my pop culture collection.

And this is my super awesome birthday present from my husband! I haven't named him yet but I did put a snazzy lab coat on him.

And finally my desk! That has a bunch of homework that needs done. But it's a lot more organized than it was..cuz I'm messy.

Also since falling is almost here I have changed to my fall scented waxes, toffee crumb and pumpkin spice!

Thanks for peeping at my finally clean office, I'm loving now that its fully decorated and everything is in its place.🤗
