Why must i be hurt like this
regulus black got asked to be james' boyfriend on january 4th, 1976, his fifth year and the day the sun was closest to earth. he thought it was always meant to be like that.
and he died on july 5th, 1979. the day the sun was farthest from earth. with his last breath, he realised it was also always meant to be like that.
Also beast was named beast because in the main universe it is said that dazai is something"unearthly" or "demon prodigy" so in this universe he is accepting that side of his hence the name beast.

This is a weird question but in school I need to read 5 short stories and write small review entries about said stories. I was wondering how many short stories do you know? Sorry if this is worded weirdly, I didn't know how to type out my thoughts. Thank you and hopefully you understand what I mean.

I know a lot of short stories by the Japanese BSD authors. I’ll include a list of some of my favorites and some links (because a lot of the books are expensive and out of print):
“The Moon Over the Mountain” by Nakajima Atsushi: link
“Run, Melos!” by Dazai Osamu: link
“Meat and Potatoes” by Kunikida Doppo: link
“The Self-Made Man” by Kunikida Doppo: link
“The Human Chair” by Edogawa Ranpo: link (starts on PDF page 14)
“The Psychological Test” by Edogawa Ranpo: link (starts on PDF page 37)
“Night on the Galactic Railroad” by Miyazawa Kenji: link
“Rashoumon” by Akutagawa Ryuunosuke: link (download the PDF)
“The Dancing Girl” by Mori Ogai: link
“Lemon” by Kajii Motojiro: link
“The State of the Times” by Oda Sakunosuke: link
“In the Forest, Under Cherries in Full Bloom” by Sakaguchi Ango: link
These are just some of my favorites that are also great examples of Japanese short stories. All the links come from the BSD Recommended Reading List, and there are a lot more short stories in this list, so feel free to browse and see if there are any that you would like to use.
If you want to have more Western authors then you can use the following sites for Western BSD authors:
Edgar Allen Poe
H.P. Lovecraft
Franz Kafka
And this website has links to short stories by a variety of authors like Anton Chekhov, Mark Twain, Herman Melville, and Ray Bradbury: bookbub.com
I hope that this can be helpful with your assignment! If you’re like me and you want to read shorter stories that have a lot of meaning in them then I would start with “The Moon Over the Mountain,” “Rashoumon,” “Lemon,” and “Run, Melos!” Those stories are also studied in Japanese schools, if that helps you know what stories to choose. But if you don’t care what length then any of them will do. It would be fun to write about “The Human Chair” because it’s more of a mystery/horror story, or “The Psychological Test.” But really just find five short stories that resonate with you and go with it!
Good luck, and I’m happy to help if you have any more questions!
I realised now as to the reason why izana's and Mikey's meeting happened how it happened. As kids , they both went on bike rides with shin , looking over the river and eating snacks. So when the met , they had the same meeting, like actual brothers. This scene mimcs the memory of them with shinichiro 💔

I think I'mma cry
I think that this ship , it actually let's you know that you will go through shit and find some rebounds but you'll always look for that one person. And that is psychotic.
Based on this I would like to point out my point of me thinking that mori displays certain characteristics of a pedo with how he refers to the child form of elise as his wife. And I have also stated that most of his moments can be interpreted as fatherly moments. And yes I did a summary of his book to understand it a bit better before I wrote my theory
(art is not mine)
There are many reasons that could be for chuuya becoming the next boss of the Port Mafia could be a natural progression for several reasons based on his character traits and the current trajectory of the story:
1. Leadership Skills: Chuuya has a natural knack for leadership, though he often hides it under his brash, impulsive demeanor. His strong sense of loyalty, tactical mind, and decisive nature make him a capable leader. Throughout the series, Chuuya has shown that he can command respect and handle situations that require authority, even if he tends to be more reactive and aggressive.
2. Relationship with the Previous Boss: Chuuya has a strong connection with the previous boss, Ougai Mori, having been one of his top lieutenants for years. Despite their differences, Chuuya’s loyalty to the Port Mafia and to Mori is unwavering. However, if the power structure in the Port Mafia were to change (either through Mori’s downfall or some internal conflict), Chuuya could step up as a stabilizing figure to lead.
3. Power and Influence: Chuuya's ability to wield the "For the Tainted Sorrow" ability gives him immense physical power. In a world where power is key to survival and dominance, Chuuya’s strength would be an attractive asset to the mafia. His prowess in battle has often placed him in situations where he could lead or control operations on a large scale.
4. Growth and Development: Over the course of Bungou Stray Dogs, Chuuya has evolved as a character. While he started off as an impulsive and hot-headed individual, he has shown deeper layers, particularly in his interactions with Dazai and his recognition of the bigger picture. If he continues to mature, he could take on a more strategic, calm, and calculating role, making him a more suitable figure for leadership.
5. Power Vacuum: If something were to happen to Mori, such as his death or removal from power, the Port Mafia would need a new leader. Chuuya is one of the few members who has the strength, tactical mind, and loyalty to the organization to fill this void. His rivalry and relationship with Dazai also position him as a figure who could step up to maintain control over the Port Mafia's operations.
In summary, Chuuya has the traits necessary to be the next boss of the Port Mafia, such as leadership ability, power, and loyalty. His story arc could potentially lead him down this path, especially if the current leadership structure changes or collapses.
Also this is based of on a pin i found on Pinterest but lost it , i think that mori actually is asexual and not a pedo and somehow find it very disrespectful that asagiri made him a pedo but anyway, similar to what dazai had done to mori in beast (send him to be the headmaster of an orphanage) i think that chuuya would do the same because some how, mori just seems like he wants to be a father and a lot of his actions like buying elise gifts and all are fatherly affections. Or Maybe something might happen to mori in this arc like fukuzawa that would force chuuya to take over port Mafia and dazai would take over armed detective agency (because kunikida is dead) and that would truly make them opposites.
"what's your favourite horror movie?" I don't know? Maybe the fact that izana realised that he was about the lose the person he cared the most about and didn't even hesitate to sacrifice himself? And that warm smile he gave in the end?
Was it all worth it?
