i feel like, while gabriel gives adrien orders in an obvious way, just clearly telling him what to do, emilie would give him instructions through compliments-- you're a good son, you're such an obedient boy-- and reassurances-- you're going to love this, you won't mess up your photoshoot-- and it seems harmless, she's being nice, but if you watch she always touches her ring when she says something like this. and she's never wrong about adrien.

Creating various personalities for many characters can be very difficult. Just relax, it doesn’t need to be. Here’s some tips that might help.
Listing Character Traits:
This was actually not helpful for me at ALL, but it may be for you! Take a piece of paper and write down for each character the traits you imagine them having.
This keeps it organized and is a good start to a character. (Maybe…it wasn’t for me…but whatever! Give it a whirl!)
Character Interviews:
This can be very helpful, even if its just to remind yourself of the characters personality later in the writing process. Act like you’re asking the characters various questions, and based off their pasts and personalities answer the questions. I find it nice to put this on paper.
This link may be handy: https://www.writerswrite.co.za/prousts-questionnaire-35-questions-every-character-should-answer/
Name them:
It may seem strange but just giving a name to a character can spark ideas. Names can just sprout personality all on their own. Thats why you may want to name them then give traits.
(But some people title them first then decide on a name depending on the personality of the person.)
Create Their Past:
Like wet cement, experiences shape a person. Not only do YOU need to know (not necessarily your readers) but your character knows. If they don’t have a firm past then a huge chunk of your character is missing.
(I will eventually post a thing about creating backgrounds and pasts but you can always find another person giving out advice.)
Know their role:
Are they the main character? Comic relief? Best friend?
You need to know this and consider shaping a person to fit in their role. A comic relief has to be…comical.
BUT, not every main character is the same nor villain. Consider that.
Character Traits:
Here’s a few traits off the top of my head-
Sarcastic, Dramatic, Bad-Tempered, Shy, Lazy, Extroverted, Introverted, Thoughtful, Rational, Irrational, Insane, Arrogant, and Humble.
Everyone has multiple traits and some have the same but in different ways.
Two people can be Bad- Tempered but one throughs a tantrum when angry and the other one kills a person. Character traits can be called the same thing but can be two drastic different things. Thats why, when planning a persons personality you should be specific. It wouldn’t hurt to say why and when a person acts that way ethier.
I have more but that seems enough for now! Have a FANTASTIC DAY, and have fun writing!
hc that both luffy and sabo are asexual but ace isnt and they constantly roast him for it
This hurts
Nora and Father’s memories of Yato
Nora’s Yato: a psychotic playmate who lived in the moment and enjoyed cutting down random innocents to pass the time.
Father’s Yato: a helpless, traumatised, innocent child with Sakura petals all around him (Father recognises what he did with Sakura was cruel. He may not feel guilty but he knows)
Fuck you man- "in moments of survival humans will regress into our base instinct to survive and throw anyone away to do so"
Literally proven not true when Seong Gi Hun's loan shark ally gave up his life in Rock, Papers, Scissors, Death to save the other guy. Who is the type of person the VIPs and the Frontman consider "Trash" and "rats" of the earth. He saw him as a friend and a brother, officiated his wedding, despite being a piece of shit he sacrificed himself, while the Frontman straight up shot his actual kid brother.
They cannot predict how people will react, they can just create the worse situations and hope it causes strife and conflict. Which it does. But it also creates friendships and loyalty, and thats a phenomenon that continues to confound and intrigue them. They believe it's a fluke, the humanity shown despite the horrors seen. Love so overcoming you strive for someone else's survival over your own. The outstretching of a hand despite the possibility of being bit. But really I believe its a core factor of our survival, and of the show
You know what, for most queer people, I think hell in Hazbin Hotel would be a step up then what we live in now. People are openly gay, bi, and pan and gender roles are basically non existent. I mean, just look at the situation with Moxie and his dad in season 2 of Helluva Boss. His dad tried to force him into a marriage with another dude. Sure he was being homophobic with his language but that's usually a situation where women are put in the media. And besides Moxies dad and Katie Killjoy in the pilot I don't think there's much homophobia. It's normal for the princess of hell to have a girlfriend. It's normal for some of the two richest overlords to be in a situationship. It's normal for Asmodeus to be queer (even if they are racist to Imps).
Hells still got it's problems of course, that being the basically slave trade. Too many demons own too many other demons souls is all I'm saying. However, in general I think being queer is a lot easier unless you are aroace. Or specifically asexual.
I'm ace so maybe Im projecting but personally I think this gives me more insight.
Being ace is still a minority in hell. In fact Alastor is the only character confirmed. there's not even a side character who's ace. And guess what, being asexual in hell is very similar in hell, if not worse, to earth. Everything is incredibly sexualized. I'm pretty sure technology, weapons, and porn are the biggest things in hell (very like on earth if i may). People fuck in the street or in open windows, there's just porn playing on public TVs and if the scene in Helluva Boss when Moxie is trying to sing a wholesome song to Millie and everyone hates on it, wanting it to be sexual, means anything then even romance without the lust is not appreciated. (I know this was in the lust ring but let's be honest do you think there's any difference between there and the pride ring?) Allosexuals can get uncomfortable with this kind of stuff to but imagine being an asexual? Especially a sex repulsed asexual! It would being a living hell. I know it is actually hell but no one else would feel that out of place so why do the asexuals have to?
I'm not mad or anything, actually it's how i'd imagine hell to be, but it's just something I noted. Asexuals are still a minority and I think id feel just as i do on earth, out of place. I mean, a world where sex and lust are the norm, that's earth.
