So, on the night of May 3, a subway fell on top of a highway in Mexico. This was not a terrorist attack, I want to make this very clear since misinformation is being spread online by supporters of our current president. People in the neighborhood had been complaining about the horrible conditions of the infrastructure FOR YEARS. As per usual, our government did nothing. Once again, the Mexican government is complicit in causing the death of several working class people. The imaged being shown on the news are all of working class people still wearing their uniforms, carrying their bags ad they were on their way home after work

As of right now, reports say there are over 70 injured people and 15 deaths. It’s about 1 am at the moment, and several people are still trapped under the rubble and inside the train cars. 

What can you do?

I am very well aware of the fact that this is an American centric website, but it is still useful to spread this information in case people have relatives living in Mexico City, as well as to combat the misinformation being spread by the supporters of our current government. 

Below, you will be able to find the phone numbers of the hospitals that are receiving the victims of this preventable accident. 

And please do not believe everything you read! MORENA, our current ruling political party has blood on their hands and ever since AMLO became president, they’ve done nothing but harm our country while they fill their pockets.
