When I say “all the Warner kids are autistic coded” I don’t just mean “they act autistic” (which they do). I mean that “you will be seen as paradoxically young and old simultaneously, and no one will understand what to call you or how to properly care for you, and you will be constantly subjected to social rules that don’t make sense to you and then punished for not following them, and you will be accepted only when you are useful, and you will be surrounded by people in positions of power who you will observe being consistently cruel, if not to you, then to someone, and be expected to accept it, and the world will be made of patterns and meta-text that only you can see, and you will somehow be considered the odd one” is an autistic experience.
